A first-generation college graduate and the daughter of immigrant factory workers, Noemi’s story is one of grit, purpose, and relentless pursuit of justice. Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New York, she knows firsthand the struggles of the communities she serves. Her passion for justice is personal—and it drives her to deliver results with both compassion and excellence.
After earning her Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law in 2004, Noemi began her career at the Legal Aid Society in New York City, quickly distinguishing herself as a top-tier trial attorney. She gained recognition for her successful defense of clients in complex, high-stakes criminal cases, including serious felony charges such as attempted murder. Her courtroom skill and persuasive advocacy earned her a reputation as a rising star in litigation.
Her legal journey later brought her to Sullivan, Papain, Block, McGrath & Cannavo—one of New York’s most prestigious personal injury firms—where she sharpened her expertise in high-value compensation claims, including catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases.
In 2011, Noemi relocated to Georgia and launched Puntier Law, a boutique immigration and personal injury firm that has become a trusted legal resource for families across the United States. Under her leadership, the firm has built a reputation for excellence in legal representation, client communication, and strategic advocacy—handling everything from family-based immigration and waivers to serious injury and wrongful death claims.
Noemi is licensed in both Georgia and New York and represents clients in state, federal, and immigration courts nationwide. She approaches every case with clarity, precision, and purpose—and is unapologetic about integrating her Christian faith into her work. Her clients regularly describe her as a rare combination of brilliance, compassion, and fierce determination.
In addition to her legal practice, Noemi is the creator and host of the weekly podcast Café con Leyes, where she educates the community on immigration law, personal injury rights, and faith-led entrepreneurship.
